The Other Gatsby.
The other, aside from the new movie adaptation of the novel, of course.
I thought I’d surf on the Gatsby-wave and make more people listen to this Radio 4 dramatisation of The Great Gatsby, which is just the bees’ knees. Like I said yesterday, I have my hesitations about Leonardo di Caprio as Gatsby from what I saw of the gifs/trailer (the party scenes at Gatsby’s house also seems off), but Andrew Scott (yes, Moriarty off Sherlock) seems to have done Gatsby perfectly - languid and mysterious, and a bit aloof; and some bits just took my breath away. It’s just a very good drama, overall. I’m quite sorry that only Part 2 is available now.
